Greetings Commanders! It’s been a little quiet on the front, but this week we’re back with a special report on a change of the guard in the AXI Leadership! I would also like to formally welcome CMDR Xarionn to the team, as two people covering the news is better than one.

Introduction
A New Era of AXI Leadership
CMDR Mgram, our favorite feathered Overseer recently stepped down from his position as leader of the AXI and named Aranonionhead *cough* CMDR Aranionros Stormrage to replace him so, long live the new king! (A dragon in place of a duck? Things escalated quickly)
The new administration has announced a so-called “great purge” where all rotting corpses will be removed from our closets to let new recruits in and increase the attendance of the Indra’s bar by 400%! For those looking to fill new openings in the AXI’s ranks (we promise, there is only slight chance you will end up as a corpse), application regulations are available on the AXI’s Inara page.
Community Goals
With the completion of the latest chapter of the Aegis-Azimuth rivalry wrapping up, this week the Pilot’s Federation has not seen fit to issue Commanders any new tasks with which they might occupy their time. Pilots are instead encouraged to perform the age-old ritualistic act known as touching grass instead.
The Ongoing War
For those who’ve been sleeping in a cave thousands of lightyears away, Humanity recently pulled a “No U” card from its sleeve, turning the table completely!
The pushback efforts continue to go well. The total number of cleared systems has been on the rise, with an astounding 81 total systems cleared this week. Perhaps a little too overzealous, the prevention initiatives have completely prevented any invasions from happening at all on multiple weeks.
